The warm spices from apple cider combine with tequila, tart lime, and simple syrup to add the perfect fall twist to the classic margarita.
For the Margaritas
1 1/2ouncestequila of choice
1 1/2ouncesapple cider
For the Sugared Rim
1tspwhite granulated sugar

Start by rimming your glass. On a shallow plate, combine cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Run a lime wedge over the lip of your glass and dip into the cinnamon mixture, rolling it around slightly to thoroughly coat it.
Fill the glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, apple cider, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake well.
Strain into glass. Garnish if desired and serve.
Use a good quality tequila
Easily double or triple the recipe to serve a crowd
To make an iced variation, combine the ingredients with as much ice as you'd like in a blender.
You can refrigerate your margaritas in a sealed, airtight container for up to one week, or freeze for up to three (3) months.
